Universal sway brace attachment from TPMC supports both lateral and longitudinal bracing between fire sprinkler piping and seismic sway brace members. Its bottom clamp wraps around the pipe without requiring disassembly of the piping run. The top jaw features a cone‑point set screw with a break‑off head, which bites into the brace member for a slip‑resistant hold and provides visual torque verification. A 360° swivel joint allows the brace member to be installed at various angles to accommodate different building geometries.
UL Listed and FM Approved, this seismic sway brace component resists differential movement between sprinkler piping and the building structure during seismic events or other dynamic building movements.
