Product Details

Seismic sway brace cable from TPMC is a key component for non-rigid seismic sway brace system. One end attaches to fire sprinkler piping, while the other end connects to a structure attachment, forming a complete non-rigid sway brace assembly. This flexible cable solution is ideal for installations with limited space or complex structural geometries where rigid pipe bracing is impractical. Because cable systems operate exclusively in tension, they must be installed in opposing pairs at each lateral or longitudinal brace location to effectively resist horizontal pipe movement in both directions.
UL listed, it is specifically designed to protect sensitive piping materials, such as CPVC, by providing a secure restraint that minimizes mechanical stress during seismic events or other dynamic building movements.
