Adjustable I-Beam adapter from TPMC is a specialized fitting for rigid and non-rigid seismic sway brace systems. Its jaw grips one side of an I‑beam flange, while a back plate with a curved end locks the opposite flange. Two adjustable heavy‑duty tie rods connect the jaw and back plate beneath the beam, enabling fast installation on a wide range of steel I‑beams without drilling or welding.
Ready to use out of the box – no loose parts or field assembly required – it provides a strong attachment point. Cone‑point set screws with break‑off heads provide visual torque verification.
UL Listed and FM Approved, this seismic sway brace component resists differential movement between sprinkler piping and the building structure during seismic events or other dynamic building movements.
