Wedge anchor is a high-strength mechanical expansion anchor designed for concrete and masonry. It consists of a threaded stud with a conical wedge and expansion clip at the base. Tightening the nut pulls the wedge into the clip, forcing it to expand against the hole wall and creating a secure mechanical interlock with excellent tensile and shear load capacity. It is ideal for pipe hangers, sway braces, and other critical structural attachments.
