Dry barrel fire hydrant gets its name from the fact that water is drained from the barrel when not in use. It is intended for use in all climates including those where freezing occurs. A single main valve is in the base for hydrant fully open or closed.

1. The inlet base flange is available with ANSI B16.1 Class 125.
2. It may incorporate a 3″ or 4″ flanged monitor elbow (ASME B16.1 Class 125), so to connect additional fire monitor.
3. Traffic type (With breakable flange) breaks cleanly upon impact to protect the remainder of the hydrant from damage.
4. It is equipped with an exclusive fire hydrant wrench, see TPMC Ref. No. F6853.
