The TX7100 intelligent smoke detector is used to detect fire based on the principle that the light from the detector is absorbed and scattered by fire smoke. It contains an intelligent processor that provides algorithm map, inbuilt A/D converter, drift compensation, self-diagnosis and history log. In the event of fire, the integral microprocessor analyses and sends signal to the fire alarm controller.
