Product Details

Hollow ceiling anchor (Hollow core anchor) from TPMC is an internally threaded mechanical anchor designed for hollow ceilings, hollow core slabs, and also solid building materials. It consists of a cylindrical expansion sleeve and a conical expander plug. When a bolt is threaded in and torque applied, the plug is drawn into the expansion sleeve, causing it to expand securely against the drill hole walls for reliable holding power.
This light-duty anchor is ideal for overhead services, including the suspension of pipe supports, cable trays, lighting fixtures, etc.

Available sizes (Imperial)

Internal thread size Length Drill hole (do, inch) Allowable load in hollow slabs (lbs) Ref. No.
1/4″ 7/8″ 3/8″ 285 P8801 (ISO)
5/16″ 1-5/16″ 5/8″ 420 P8802 (ISO)
3/8″ 1-5/16″ 5/8″ 520 P8803 (ISO)
1/2″ 1-3/4″ 3/4″ 1005 P8804 (ISO)

Note: Allowable loads are based on carbon steel material in pre-stressed hollow core slabs with minimum concrete strength of 4000 psi. Actual load capacity depends on slab thickness, concrete strength, edge distance, spacing, and installation quality.

Available sizes (Metric)

Internal thread size Length Drill hole (do, mm) Rec. load in hollow slabs (kN) Ref. No.
