Linear heat detector (LHD) is a fire detection system based on continuous temperature-sensing cable, designed to monitor abnormal temperature rise across large-scale areas.
It includes 3 parts: signal processing unit, terminal processor, temperature-sensing cable. The signal processing unit applies a steady current to the cable and measures voltage fluctuation. When voltage deviations exceed preset threshold, an alarm is activated.
