Wide mouth beam clamp from TPMC is a versatile pipe hanger component designed to attach securely to the top or bottom flange of I-beams, wide-flange beams, or bar joists without welding or drilling. Its wider mouth accommodates bar joist chords, making it ideal for roof applications. It accepts a threaded hanger rod that passes through the clamp to support sprinkler piping, standpipe systems, conduit, cable trays, and other suspended mechanical services.
UL Listed and FM Approved, this clamp provides reliable, high-strength support where secure attachment to bar joist or thick-flange beams is required.

Note:
1. The 3/8″ RS version is reversible and suitable for attachment to both top and bottom beam flanges. The 1/2″ RS version is for top flange only.
2. Set screw must be tightened onto the sloped side of the beam flange. Follow recommended torque values per MSS SP-69.
3. Maximum recommended loads are based on normal ambient temperatures and include a minimum safety factor of 5:1 per MSS SP-58.
