CPVC socket x grooved transition coupling provides a straight connection between two pipes of the same diameter for use in residential and light commercial fire sprinkler systems. One end features a socket for solvent cement welding, creating a molecularly fused, leak-proof bond. The opposite end is grooved for a mechanical connection with grooved coupling.
Made from CPVC, it is inherently flame-retardant, corrosion-resistant, and lightweight.
This hybrid design offers installation flexibility, enabling a transition between a permanent welded joint and a demountable mechanical connection.
